I wanted to thank both of you, as my issue is now resolved and your suggestions got me to that point.įor anyone else that may be trying to figure out how to do this the steps were as follows:ġ. My apologies for not having posted back sooner. Perhaps my routing is wrong, or the way I've set up the tracks?Ĭan anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong? I'd sure I must not be setting this up right. If I speak into the mic the audio is not being seen by Vocalsynth and the signal is not modulated. I then routed the audio track 1 into the VST track 2. Next I added another track with a VST instrument and selected Vocalsynth as the VST. Audio is coming through and can be controlled via the volume slider on the track. I added an audio track in Reaper and armed the track. I have a mic plugged into Input 1 on the UMC and can hear the mic audio through my headphones. I've configured my audio interface and have other VSTs running without a problem but I just cannot figure out how to get Vocalsynth working. I recently acquired Izotope Vocalsynth but quickly found that DP 8 doesn't like Vocalsynth, so I thought I'd try Reaper. I'm currently demoing Reaper, having previously used Digital Performer 8.
I'm hoping someone can help a bewildered n00b?įirst, my setup: AMD QuadCore PC running at 3.2 GHz, 16GB RAM, Windows 10 Pro 64Bit.
